Key Responsibilities: - Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality and presentation.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the Chef on duty and cook line to ensure smooth service and timely service.
- Assist with plating, packaging, and presentation for service.
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure all prep upholds the restaurant's quality and presentation standards.
Qualifications: - MUST be available on SUNDAYS
- Previous experience in a bakery, pastry, or kitchen role.
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques, equipment, and ingredients.
- Ability to follow recipes, work efficiently, and multitask in a busy environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality in all products.
- Passion for baking and an enthusiasm for learning new skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Physical Requirements: - Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature environment.
