Passive Fire Supervisor/Working Supervisor overseeing fire protection works, including fire doors and fire stopping, to social housing properties in the North East.
Responsibilities include:
- Operative management
- Health & safety and toolbox talks
- Post work inspections and quality control
- Stock control at the stores
- 80% non-working role with a small amount of ad hoc work on the tools to support with fire door remedials
What's on offer?
- 240/day CIS, 8hr working day
- 25p/mile over 20 miles to and from the first and last site + all travel during the working day
- Parking expensed back
- Long-term, ongoing contract with no end date
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working in social housing environments with vulnerable tenants
- NVQ L2 in Carpentry and Joinery with fire door install/remedial experience
- Experience using Onetrace or similar compliance apps/software for recording data
- Supervisory experience + SSSTS/SMSTS
- Valid CSCS card
- DBS with no record, or be prepared to obtain one if successful
- Asbestos Awareness certificate
- Manual Handling certificate
