Parts Manager to join our teamThe Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the parts department, including inventory management, order processing, parts sourcing, and customer service. This role will ensure the timely and efficient delivery of parts and components needed for the maintenance and repair of commercial & industrial boiler systems. The Parts Manager will own the annual sales target and seek methods to increase exposure to the market and manage closure on issued proposals. The Parts Manager will also be responsible for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Essential functions:Parts Sourcing & Ordering: - Work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of parts.
- Research and source hard-to-find parts, negotiating pricing and lead times to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Process orders for parts, ensuring timely delivery and communication with clients regarding expected delivery times.
Customer Service & Support: - Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries regarding parts availability, order status, and technical support.
- Offer recommendations to customers regarding parts and products.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely availability of parts for service calls and equipment repairs.
Team Management: - Supervise, train, and develop the parts department team.
- Ensure all parts personnel adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Foster a team-oriented environment with a focus on achieving company goals.
Budgeting & Reporting: - Report on monthly sales against budget expectations and develop improvement plans.
- Assist in preparing and managing the parts department budget.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, sales performance, and any issues related to parts availability.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements for department processes and cost control.
Operational Efficiency: - Work with the Service and Sales teams to ensure parts availability for scheduled and emergency repairs.
- Optimize the use of the company's parts management software and ensure data integrity.
- Continuously review and improve parts operations to increase efficiency and reduce lead times.
Basic Requirements:Education: - High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is a plus.
Experience: - 5+ years of experience in parts management, preferably in an industrial, commercial, or mechanical setting.
- Experience in the HVAC or Auto Industry would be a plus
- Experience with order processing software.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Basic knowledge of Cleaver-Brooks products, boiler systems, and related parts is highly desirable.
Physical Skill & Effort:- Ability to lift and carry parts up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable with standing, walking, or moving around in a warehouse setting for extended periods.
