Job Responsibilities: - Coordinate the purchasing and receiving of spare parts: Ensure timely procurement and receipt of spare parts to support maintenance and operations.
- Create and maintain repair and inspection reports: Document and track all repair and inspection activities to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Generate tracking/closing of work orders: Manage work orders from initiation to completion, ensuring accurate tracking and closure.
- Procurement of manufacturing parts and supplies: Source and acquire necessary manufacturing parts and supplies to support production.
- Perform daily storeroom activities: Handle parts ordering, expediting, receiving, inspecting, cataloging, stocking, issuing, and inventory control.
- Responsible for computerized storeroom management: Maintain accurate inventory records and compare them to the computerized management system.
- Investigate and analyze new sources of supply: Identify and evaluate new suppliers while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Meet established budgets and inventory levels: Manage inventory to meet budgetary constraints and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Stocks and issues materials or merchandise: Ensure materials and merchandise are properly stocked and issued as needed.
- Plan, implement and follow-up on best practices: Develop and execute best practices in stores and purchasing to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications: - Proven experience in storeroom management and procurement.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and vendor relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations related to chemical purchases.
- Ability to meet budgetary constraints and manage inventory levels effectively.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
