Job Overview: Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in advancing our partnership development initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the CEO and sales organization to attract more customers and enhance the process of shutting down with SimpleClosure. In this influential position, you will identify and build strategic partnerships with organizations that support businesses at the end of their lifecycle. By executing our channel sales strategy, you'll foster relationships with technology platforms, legal firms, venture capital teams, and other essential players, laying the groundwork for SimpleClosure's growth while generating revenue and delivering valuable solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop a Strategic Framework: Create and implement a strategic plan to scale partnerships through indirect sales channels and alliances.
- Build and Execute Partnerships: Establish and nurture relationships with technology platforms, financial services providers, and key industry players to create mutual value.
- Drive Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with product, tech, and sales teams to identify how strategic partnerships can enhance SimpleClosure's offerings and revenue.
- Lead Partnership Negotiations: Structure and negotiate commercial agreements that promote revenue growth and strengthen our market position.
- Source Target Companies: Collaborate with partners to identify and support businesses approaching shutdown.
- Champion Partner Success: Serve as the primary contact for partners, anticipating their needs and proactively resolving challenges.
Professional Experience and Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or related roles, preferably within technology and startups.
- Deep understanding of partnerships involving API-based integrations, B2B SaaS, and financial technologies.
- Outstanding communication and influencing skills, capable of cultivating long-term relationships internally and externally.
- Strategic thinker with a proven track record of executing plans and delivering measurable results.
- Experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments with a focus on creative problem-solving.
- High adaptability and willingness to travel occasionally to engage with partners and stakeholders.
- Ability to challenge the status quo.
- Proven experience in closing and managing technology partnerships.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on enhancing partner value.
