The Greensboro Gargoyles are seeking a highly motivated, outgoing, and dedicated candidate for the role of Partnership and Creative Services Manager. Ideal candidates will thrive in the fast-paced, results-driven world of the ECHL and bring a strong blend of creative and client service skills. This position will join our Zawyer Sports Marketing Department, contributing to design projects across multiple entities while leading partnership fulfillment and activation efforts in the Greensboro market.

Responsibilities


Creative Services
  • Develop a wide range of marketing materials, including print and digital assets for campaigns, social media ads, in-game content, email marketing, proposals, billboards, web graphics, and more.
  • Incorporate feedback from the marketing team and Zawyer management to refine and revise creative deliverables.
  • Assist in planning and executing the social media strategy.
  • Design and manage newsletters and other email marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain and update websites to ensure fresh, engaging, and brand-consistent content.
  • Meet creative deadlines and ensure the delivery of high-quality assets on time.
Partnerships & Activation
  • Coordinate and execute partner activations, including in-game promotions, sponsored events, branded content, and community-facing initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate partners, ensuring deliverables are fulfilled accurately and on schedule.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (marketing, game ops, digital) to integrate sponsorship elements seamlessly into fan experiences.
  • Track, measure, and report on partnership performance, providing recap decks and ROI summaries for internal use and partner communication.
  • Assist with the development and presentation of partnership proposals, incorporating creative activation ideas.
  • Manage sponsorship inventory and assets, ensuring all branding and promotional items are aligned and activated properly.
  • Support partner-related content and visibility across digital platforms, including social media, email, and web.
Game Day & Event Responsibilities
  • Ensure fan and partner satisfaction during games through execution of activations, signage, and hospitality elements.
  • Represent the organization professionally in interactions with fans, sponsors, and community partners.
  • Be at all 36 regular season home games, playoffs, and all other events as needed.
General
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the team and department goals.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Graphic Designer
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of branding, layout, typography, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, motivated, and self-driven with strong project management abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset and a customer service focus.
  • Familiarity with the sports industry; knowledge of hockey and event photography is a plus.
