JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Partners Marketing & Communications Specialist to oversee all marketing and communications efforts related to our corporate partners, and donors. This individual will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships, increasing engagement, and ensuring that all stakeholders feel informed and valued. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communications, experience managing relationships with corporate partners and donors, and a passion for advancing the mission of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Partner Relations:
  • Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies to engage and steward corporate partners and Filter Build partners.
  • Create tailored messaging, materials, and campaigns to highlight the impact of corporate partnerships, aligning with their corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals.
  • Work with the Fundraising & Development and the Filter Build teams to ensure that corporate partnerships are effectively leveraged in fundraising and marketing efforts.
  • Provide marketing and communication support for events, recognition programs, and reports for corporate partners to ensure positive relationships and engagement.
Individual Donor Engagement:
  • Craft and manage communications strategies aimed at engaging and retaining individual donors, with a focus on donor stewardship and appreciation.
  • Develop and write donor communications including newsletters, mailers, annual reports, and campaign updates.
  • Work closely with the Fundraising & Development team to ensure that donor communications are aligned with ongoing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Implement personalized outreach strategies to recognize donor contributions and encourage continued support.
Filter Build Partner Engagement:
  • Coordinate communications with Filter Build partners, and participants ensuring they are informed and engaged in our initiatives.
  • Create content for newsletters, reports, and other materials to keep Filter Build partners updated on progress, milestones, and the impact of their contributions.
  • Manage partnerships and communications for collaborative projects, ensuring timely delivery of necessary materials and updates.
Content Creation & Strategy:
  • Assist in developing a content calendar that aligns with the goals and priorities of corporate partners, individual donors, and Filter Build partners.
  • Create compelling, high-quality written and visual content for email newsletters, reports, social media, donor communications, and marketing materials.
  • Ensure all communications are aligned with the organization's voice, mission, and branding standards.
Event Planning & Execution:
  • Support Fund Development & Filter Build teams in providing marketing assets and communications for events (virtual and in-person) for corporate partners, individual donors, and Filter Build partners, including recognition events, webinars, and donor appreciation events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure events run smoothly, and ensure all stakeholders are engaged and valued.
Analytics and Reporting:
  • Track and measure the success of communications efforts using data analytics, ensuring that strategies are effective and providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Create regular reports for senior leadership on key metrics, such as engagement rates, donor retention, and partner satisfaction.
  • Ensure all marketing and communications materials reflect the organization's mission, values, and brand identity.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing and communications, ideally within a non-profit environment, with a focus on donor relations and corporate partnerships.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling content for various audiences.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and stakeholder needs simultaneously.
  • Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including email, social media, websites, and print materials.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), social media management tools, and basic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, donors, and collaborators.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain consistency across all communication materials.
  • A passion for the mission and values of Wine to Water and a commitment to building lasting, impactful partnerships.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in managing corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives or working with corporate partners in a non-profit context.
  • Familiarity with donor management software (e.g., Salesforce, DonorPerfect) or CRM tools.
  • Knowledge of fundraising principles and strategies.
  • Background in event planning and coordination.
  • Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with tools like Canva or Adobe InDesign to create compelling visuals for communications.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, DOCUMENTATION, AND SAFETY
  • Sufficient physical ability to work in an office setting and operate office equipment; the employee is regularly required to bend, stoop, kneel, and at times may be required to lift 25+ pounds and can be exposed to indoor, outdoor temperatures and various living situations. Must be able to operate motorized vehicles with a valid license.
  • Required domestic and international travel documentation and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries may be necessary to perform this role - This role may be in high-risk zones and require documentation and medical clearance by various governments to enter disaster areas with significant public health risks.
  • Exceptional understanding of risk management policies and best practices
  • Adhere to WTW's safety action plan and procedures.
  • This position will involve a combination of office-based tasks and fieldwork. Occasional travel may be required to visit communities and attend meetings or events.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to accommodate community outreach or program deadlines.
