In this role, you will work collaboratively with your teammates to operate registers, stock shelves, and maintain a welcoming store environment. Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $17.50 Year 3 - $18.00 Year 4 - $18.00 Year 5 - $19.00
Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Collaborates effectively with team members.
- Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Cashier Responsibilities: - Processes customer purchases and ensures a clean and orderly store.
- Provides outstanding customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Offers feedback to management regarding products and inventory.
- Participates in inventory counts and monitors stock accuracy.
- Follows cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
Stocker Responsibilities: - Stocks shelves with fresh products and rotates stock accordingly.
- Adheres to merchandising standards to create appealing displays.
- Organizes and breaks down new inventory efficiently.
- Operates equipment safely per guidelines.
Physical Demands: - Requires sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking around the store.
- Ability to stock merchandise and lift items weighing up to 45 pounds.
Qualifications: - Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- General cleaning skills to maintain store standards.
- Strong verbal communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous retail experience is a plus.
