Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.00, Year 3 - $18.50, Year 4 - $18.50, Year 5 - $19.50
Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to your direct leader.
- Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within your area of responsibility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Cashier Responsibilities: - Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure merchandise displays are neatly stocked.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Offer feedback to management regarding products, inventory discrepancies, scanning errors, and general issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Comply with cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
Stock Associate Responsibilities: - Stock shelves and ensure product rotation to guarantee freshness for customers.
- Follow merchandising planograms to create attractive displays.
- Organize new inventory and handle empty boxes responsibly.
- Operate machinery and adhere to all safety procedures.
Physical Demands: - Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.
- Ability to stock merchandise efficiently, including lifting products weighing up to 45 pounds.
Qualifications: - Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Perform cleaning duties to meet company standards.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Work both independently and within a team.
- Effective time management skills.
- Knowledge of the company's products and services.
Cashier:
- Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
- Comply with state and local regulations regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages.
Stock Associate:
- Ability to operate equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks and other machinery safely.
- Must have morning availability, with start times as early as 5:00 a.m.
Education and Experience: - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge is acceptable.
