Part-Time Before and After Preschool Site Program Manager

We are looking for a part-time Before-and-After-School Site Preschool Program Manager for our program located inside the Meadowood Child Development Center.


Position Details-

Work Days: Before and After Split Shift (Part-Time) Monday-Thursday 7:15 am - 9:15 am and 4:00 pm-6:00 pm and on Fridays full days 8:00 am- 5 pm. Must be able to work before and after Monday through Friday

Site Location: Meadowood Child Development Center at- 3333 S Norfolk Way, Aurora, CO 80013

NO WEEKENDS.

Start Date: July 21st, 2025

Starting Wage: $25-$27.50 per hour (depending on years of experience and educational qualifications in a group setting)

Requirements:

Ability to meet state-specific requirements;

Current Large Center Director Certificate OR An active Early Childhood Professional Credential (ECPC), Version 3.0, Level 3 or higher or ECPC, Version 2.0, Level 4 or higher.

  1. Option 1: Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate Degree in any of the following: Child Development; Child Psychology; Early Childhood Education; Early Childhood Special Education; Educational Leadership and Administration; Elementary Education; Family and Human Development; Family Studies; or Special Education (No experience required).
  2. Option 2: Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate Degree in an unrelated field + 10 required ECE courses + 455 hours of verifiable experience.
  3. Option 3: Associate's Degree + 10 required ECE courses + 455 hours of verifiable experience.
  4. Option 4: No degree + 10 required ECE courses + 910 hours ECE Courses Intro to Early Childhood Education Intro to Early Childhood Education Techniques Guidance Strategies for Young Children OR Department approved Colorado Pyramid Plus Approach Training ECE Nutrition, Health and Safety Admin of Early Childhood Care and Education Programs Admin: Human Relations for ECE or Intro to Business Curriculum Development: Methods and Techniques ECE Child Growth and Development.
  • 21+ years of age
  • One year of experience managing/supervising employees
  • Proof of High School diploma/GED required
You'll drive the mission by:

Safety & Joy: Exhibits role model qualities ensuring safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities to a team of staff members. Supports operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date. Outlines attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensures program tasks are completed effectively. ;Continual coaching, fostering respectful relationships among staff to address any challenges or issues promptly to maintain team cohesion, and productivity.

Safety Assurance: Consistently support and report on safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants. Identify and mitigate any potential risks within the program environment.

Effective Communication: Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building. Respond promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust. Communicate and collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided.

Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs. Ensure "name to face" attendance procedures are completed per company policy.

Daily Routine: Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.

Ideal Candidates will have the following:

Experience with working amongst competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders

High school diploma or GED completed

Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs

Coursework or training in child development and/or related field

Communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children

Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community

Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn

REQUIRED-4yr degree education, elementary education, specialty in art/human service (social work, psych, etc.); OR 2yr degrees and 6mo (910 hrs) of experience from the age of 18; OR 5, 460 hrs of experience (2-3yrs) w/ 6 semesters of schooling or 40 clocked hours of training for school-aged children
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Experience working with children under 13 years of age is a PLUS
