Position: Part-Time Legal Admin & Compliance Assistant
Location: Elkhart, Indiana - 100% Onsite

• This part-time role is ideal for a paralegal, legal secretary, or administrative professional with legal or compliance experience who thrives on structure and detail.

• You'll support a collaborative legal/compliance function and gain exposure to both document preparation and internal auditing processes.

Overview of the Part-Time Legal Admin & Compliance Assistant role:

• Prepare and file contracts using pre-built templates-highlight required fields and complete necessary entries for review.

• Finalize all legal documents in Microsoft Word and Adobe Pro.

• Assist with change orders during the summer (approximately 4-5 per day) and provide templated agreements for review or revision.

• Maintain the internal compliance system by tracking and sending task reminders to employees (e.g., state report filings).

• Support monthly internal compliance audits-attend a 30-minute department meeting, ask basic compliance questions, and complete a structured report (approx. 3 hours total).

Preferred Qualifications for the Part-Time Legal Admin & Compliance Assistant role:

• Previous experience as a legal administrative assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Adobe Pro.

• Comfortable reviewing documents and managing internal tracking systems.

Salary: $20,800 to $27,800 annually (based on 20 hours/week)
Please Note: This role is 100% onsite in Elkhart, IN. The schedule is 20 hours per week, ideally across 5 half-days, though 3 full days onsite is also acceptable.
