Join our team at Sherwin-Williams as a Part-Time Bilingual Sales Associate Driver. In this role, you will work closely with both wholesale and retail customers, helping them identify their needs and answering questions about our diverse range of products. You will also be responsible for safely delivering products to customers using Company vans or pick-up trucks.
Your duties will involve:
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional sales service.
- Assisting customers in person and over the phone by assessing their needs and presenting suitable products and services.
- Processing sales transactions accurately and consistently following company policies.
- Meeting and striving to achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Maintaining organized work order files and product formulas.
- Pulling the appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
- Tinting and mixing products according to customer specifications.
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to customers safely and promptly.
- Helping with the loading and unloading of items from vehicles.
- Maintaining the store vehicle and reporting any repair or servicing needs.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Complying with all traffic regulations and safety procedures while operating the vehicle.
- Preparing delivery reports and other necessary documentation.
- Operating a variety of equipment, including cars, trucks, and forklifts.
Minimum Requirements: - Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be authorized to work in the country without requiring sponsorship for a work visa.
- Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Must be able to retrieve items from shelves and lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications: - High School diploma or GED.
- One year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles.
- Experience selling paint and related products.
- Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages, particularly Spanish.
