What we are looking for:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our litigation team. Experience in litigation, estate planning, trust, and/or probate law is preferred but not required . Ultimately, we are looking for a skilled candidate to join our collaborative work environment, who is enthusiastic about contributing to the continued success of our firm.


Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience

Understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and effective research techniques

Well-versed in maintaining attorney-client relationships, ethical obligations and handling of sensitive information

Effective note-taking and proactive in asking clarifying questions

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple assignments

Exemplifies professionalism with clients, attorneys and staff

Proficient in MS Suite, Teams, Zoom and Adobe

Working knowledge of standard office equipment

E-filing, service with Court staff, County offices, and process vendors is preferred

Demonstrates ability to follow policies, procedures and contribute to a positive work environment


Responsibilities:

Assist litigation attorneys in all phases of the litigation process

Drafting and E-filing

Case management

Maintain and organize case files

Communicate, coordinate and schedule with clients, attorneys, Court personnel, and third parties

Proactively maintain attorney's calendar

General support of attorneys and paralegal team in managing multiple cases
