We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our client's team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering Interrogatories with Clients: Communicate with clients to gather information and assist with answering interrogatories in accordance with case requirements.
  • Answering Requests for Production of Documents: Respond to Requests for Production of Documents, ensuring compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
  • Gather Documents: Collect and organize documents essential for case preparation, including evidence, records, and exhibits.
  • Scheduling Depositions: Coordinate and schedule depositions with witnesses, opposing counsel, and court reporters.
  • Scheduling Expert Exams: Arrange appointments for expert examinations as required by the case.
  • Calendaring Events: Maintain and manage calendars for attorneys, ensuring deadlines, hearings, meetings, and other important events are met.
  • Filing Pleadings, Motions & Memos: Prepare and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and memos in accordance with legal procedures.
  • Assisting Attorneys with Trial Preparation: Provide support to attorneys in preparing cases for trial, including organizing case files, preparing exhibits, and assisting with witness coordination.
  • Escalating Issues to Attorneys: Identify and escalate issues to attorneys when necessary to ensure appropriate resolution and avoid delays.
  • Review, Analyze, and Summarize Case Files and Medical Records: Review case files, analyze documents, and summarize critical information for attorneys
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Paralegal Requirements:

  • Certificate of completion from an ABA-approved paralegal certification program of education and training, or an associate degree in paralegal studies preferred not required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time-sensitive documents and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to function effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment.

Salary commensurate with experience.

This is also a contract to hire role.
