About Our Client

Our client is a leading law firm with a national presence, known for its focus on labor and employment defense litigation. Their Orange County team is growing and looking for a sharp, experienced paralegal to support attorneys on high-stakes litigation matters involving single and multi-plaintiff cases, class actions, and complex employment disputes.

Job Description

  • Draft and respond to discovery, including interrogatories and document requests
  • Organize and summarize records, reports, and documents
  • Prepare and serve subpoenas for records and depositions
  • Conduct factual investigations and witness interviews
  • Support motion practice, depositions, and trial prep
  • Compile data and calculate damages in Class and PAGA actions
  • Conduct legal and expert research
  • Manage case documents and coordinate document production

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of legal assistant/paralegal experience
  • 1+ years of litigation experience
  • Some employment law experience
  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program OR strong employment law experience
  • Familiarity with State and Federal court rules
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently
