Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Litigation Paralegal to support a busy attorney practicing in Workers' Compensation and Personal Injury law. The ideal candidate will be proactive, efficient, and experienced in managing litigation files from intake through trial or settlement. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong legal research and writing abilities, and the capacity to handle a high-volume caseload with precision and care. Key


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all phases of case management, including intake, discovery, pre-trial preparation, and settlement/trial support.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence.
  • Conduct factual and legal research relevant to cases and prepare summaries or memoranda.
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files, ensuring documentation is complete and up-to-date.
  • Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, document requests, and subpoenas.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
  • Obtain, review, and summarize medical records, employment files, and accident reports.
  • Assist in preparing cases for hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Track important deadlines, court dates, and appointments.
  • File legal documents with courts, both electronically and in-person as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in workers' compensation and/or personal litigation.
  • Strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology specific to and Workers' Compensation and Personal Injury cases.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with legal teams.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Paralegal Certificate or Degree in Paralegal Studies
  • Proficiency with legal case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation: $30 /hr to $35 /hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefits package for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as applicable by law.
