Practice Area: Family Law
Location: Freehold, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Compensation: $65,000 annually + full benefits package
What You'll Do:
- Draft legal correspondence, including responses to informal and formal discovery requests.
- Track and maintain accurate billable hours for individual cases.
- Organize and update spreadsheets, timelines, and case documentation.
- Assist in mediation and trial prep, including document management, pleadings, depositions, and exhibits.
- Organize and manage financial documentation for family law matters.
- Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and support staff.
- Prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines across cases.
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience as a Family Law Paralegal in a law firm.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal documentation.
- Strong legal writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
