A longstanding estate planning firm in downtown Denver is seeking a Paralegal to join their growing team. This firm offers mentorship from senior support staff and attorneys in an open-door environment. The family-like culture emphasizes collaboration where everyone supports each other and pitches in, rather than supporting only specific desks.
The successful candidate will have ideally three years of legal support experience at a law firm and will have demonstrated a high level of ownership and excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. You will be responsible for overseeing a large probate matter, that involves oil and gas matters, which entails sorting, organizing, and scanning relevant documents, tracking and updating deadlines, maintaining communication with attorneys and right-of-way agents, and completing data entry. This is a long-term ongoing project, and once it ends this person will transition to supporting attorneys with administrative tasks such as drafting and editing documents, e-filing, and client communication. Prior estate planning and/or estate administration experience is a plus but not required as you will be working on matters for high-net-worth clients (typically $10 million or more) and multi-generational families.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a firm that truly values its team. They offer full benefits, including 100% paid health, dental, and life insurance, a 401k plan with a match, paid parking, and generous PTO.
Compensation: $70,000-$90,000, depending on experience.
