Entertainment Paralegal to Leading Entertainment Law Firm

$100,000-$160,000 + paid overtime + great benefits

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Entertainment Paralegal to support their legal and business affairs team. The ideal candidate will assist with reviewing and drafting contracts, handling production-related clearances, managing copyright filings, and providing general legal support. Strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and experience in entertainment law are essential for this role.


Responsibilities:

  • Review, annotate, and provide feedback on various agreements and documents
  • Support production-related tasks and manage necessary clearances
  • Manage the creation and upkeep of corporate entities
  • Draft legal agreements and official correspondence
  • Assist with drafting and processing endorsement and influencer release forms
  • Conduct research on issues related to the WGA, DGA, and SAG
  • Handle copyright matters and WGA-related filings
  • Familiarity with motion picture and television rights
  • Experience with production releases (e.g., appearance, attachment, location, materials), vendor contracts, and development agreements
  • Background in both scripted and unscripted television production

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in entertainment law, business affairs, or as a paralegal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to independently prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet varying deadlines
