Education and Certification: - High School Diploma.
- Completion of at least two years of post secondary education (minimum 60 college credits) OR and associate's degree OR successful complete of a Paraprofessional Assessment (ParaPro) exam.
- Must meet Delaware Department of Education requirements for paraeducators.
- Must be able to successfully complete and maintain certification in the district approved behavioral intervention program applicable for teh setting (e.g. Safe & Positive Approaches to Behavior)
Preferred Experience - Computer skills and background knowledge are a plus.
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged children preferred.
- Experience supporting diverse student populations, including English Language Learners (ELLs) and students with disabilities, is a plus.
General Description: The person is responsible for managing the computer lab in a school setting. This involves maintaining the technology in the lab (ipads, laptops) and implementing whole-group lessons with students on topics such as internet safety, keyboarding, coding, and more.

- Computer Lab Skills
- Plans and Implements lessons related to the Computer Lab and possibly compliment the school curricular areas.
- Engages students in the lessons with appropriate activities and materials.
- Establishes routines and procedures in the Computer Lab so that students remain focused and on task.
- Communicates effectively with families as needed.
- Orders materials and supplies and maintains the computer lab and technology.
- Administers Naglieri Testing (Grades 3, 4, 5) PBS survey (Grades 3, 4, 5), Leader in Me Survey (Grades 3, 4, 5).
