Summary: Responsible for the daily preparation of food items in the pantry station.
Job Type: Full time, Part time
Compensation: $19.50 to $23, participation in tip share.
Benefits:
• Paid time off, 1 hour per every 40 hours worked up to year 3; 1.54 hours per every 40 hours worked thereafter; eligible after 90 days.
• Holiday Pay: Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day paid 1.5 times base wage if worked (Eligible after 3 years of service)

We're in search of an enthusiastic and dependable team player to join our 13 Coins family as a Pantry Cook. 13 Coins is an iconic establishment that has been serving the greater Seattle area for 50+ years. We are an upscale restaurant, featuring a wide variety of menu items that are prepared in our exhibition-style kitchen. Qualifications/Skills:
- Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
- Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
- Previous prep or line cook experience
- Understands all menu presentations and procedures for the station they are working
Other Responsibilities:
- Set up stations according to restaurant guidelines
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
- Supports the Kitchen Manager in achieving food cost goals
- Perform additional responsibilities, although not as detailed, as requested by manager at any time
