We're seeking an energetic PALS University Community Integration DSP to support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their employment goals within the Kansas City area. Your Responsibilities: - Provide on-the-job training and support, ensuring alignment with Person-Centered Support Plans.
- Build relationships with business partners for volunteering and placements.
- Assist with skill development and problem-solving for individuals in employment settings.
- Document progress and attend required training to maintain service quality.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and behavioral counseling.
Requirements and Preferences: - Class E driver's license in Missouri or Class C driver's license in Kansas.
- Proof of auto insurance and education (HS Diploma or its equivalency).
- Be able to move and/or lift up to 20 pounds with an occasional need for up to 50 pounds.
- Preferred One year of related experience or education in the Healthcare industry.

- Work independently with clients in the community
- Work with goals, not quality of life
- Show us your independent thinking and the ability to create activities every day to meet those goals (We don't ask "what do you want to do today". We ask "Do you want to work on goal 1 or goal 2 and here are the activities available")
- Schedule your own times with each client and communicate those times to the family members. (We give you a caseload, not a schedule.)
- Complete your daily logs DAILY to show your work and progress. Documenting and providing summaries is required.
