JOB SCOPE

delivering unparalleled blends and service to our customers. As our Palletizing Technician you will oversee the

palletizing operations within our production facility. The ideal candidate will have experience using labeling software

(experience with Loftware/Nice Label software is a plus), and an understanding of automated palletizing methods.

Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, each team member maintains and enhances the company's dry-mix

blending operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Label Software Operation

• Operate labeling software to accurately label all finished good pallets to meet production goals and

packaging standards.

o Previous experience using labeling software is preferred, experience with Loftware/Nice Label

software is a plus.

• Ensure correct lot code is being printed.

• Perform basic math skills and use pallet configuration knowledge.

• Ensure the label software and printers are functioning properly.

• Verify pallet labels before finished goods leave pallet station. If any issues arise, quickly resolve.

Palletizing

• Oversee the palletizing process, ensuring that products are stacked and organized correctly on pallets for

shipping or storage.

• Operate and monitor the machinery in the pallet station, on multiple production lines, to ensure it operates

efficiently and without interruptions.

• Production coordination: collaborate with production teams to align palletizing operations with overall

production goals. Ensure timely and accurate pallet formation to avoid bottlenecks in the shipping or

storage process.

General

• Read and understand shift production schedule, batching process, and pallet configurations.

• Documentation: maintain accurate logs of palletizing operations, machine performance, and any issues

encountered.

• System monitoring & troubleshooting: monitor label software and pallet station equipment to detect and

resolve issues or irregularities.

General warehouse duties include sanitation, required training, and audits outside of core operations.

• Quality control: ensure the palletizing process adheres to quality standards including all food safety

requirements. Monitor for product damage.

• Safety Compliance: adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal

protective equipment (PPE).

• Communication: communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth and

efficient operations. Participate in team meetings and special projects as required.

• Problem Solving: identify and address potential safety hazards and operational issues.

Complete all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

• Previous experience using labeling software is preferred, experience with Loftware/Nice Label software is a

plus.

• Basic computing skills are required. Experience with barcoding is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with palletizing processes in a production or warehouse environment.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly and occasionally lift and/or move over 50

pounds with help.

• Ability to stand for long periods.

• Have excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Vision abilities also include: close vision, color

vision, and peripheral vision.

Skills

• Attention to detail: be detail-oriented and able to follow instructions accurately.

• Basic math skills: be able to perform basic math calculations.

• Communication skills: possess good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.

Education and Certifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Associate degree or higher in Industrial

Automation or a related field preferred.

• Any relevant certifications in automation, robotics, or industrial systems are a plus.
