Summary:


Candidate MUST:
Be currently located in the United States for the current three consecutive years US Citizen or US Person with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Role will be primarily telecommute - must meet the above.

Responsibilities:
  • Participation in user interviews to understand technical and customer needs.
  • Developing front end website architecture based on Palantir Foundry.
  • Designing user interactions on web pages within Palantir Foundry Workshop.
  • Developing back-end code logic that leverages semantic object linking (ontologies) within Palantir Foundry Pipeline Builder, Code Workbook, and Ontology Manager.
  • Creating servers, databases, and datasets for functionality as needed.
  • Ensuring health of data connections and pipelines (utilizing filesystem, JDBC, SFTP, and webhook).
  • Ensuring conformance with security protocols and markings on sensitive data sets.
  • Ensuring responsiveness of web applications developed on low code/no code solutions.
  • Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
  • Seeing through projects from conception to finished product.
  • Meeting both technical and customer needs.
  • Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
  • Lead other engineers to develop features on your projects
Basic Qualifications :
  • 6+ years of experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
  • 6+ years of experience developing and maintaining data pipelines, data models, and data visualizations
  • 1+ years' experience in building Ontology objects in Foundry
  • 1+ years' experience understanding of Ontology concepts and how it facilitates data throughout Foundry applications and permissions
  • 1+ years' experience configuring Ontology objects using backing datasets, permissions, etc.
  • Must be eligible for US Government Public Trust
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred Skills :
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as PySpark, Python, TypeScript and JavaScript
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Palantir development
  • Enabling write back capability with Workshop Actions/scenarios
  • Developing front end website architecture based on Palantir Foundry
  • Designing user interactions on web pages within Palantir Foundry Workshop
  • Ensuring responsiveness of web applications developed on low code/no code solutions
  • Stay up to date with the latest Palantir releases and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and engineers.
