Pain Management Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Annual Salary: $115k-$160k (varies, depending on years of experience)

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our client's multidisciplinary pain management team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in pain management, with hands-on experience in trigger point injections and a working knowledge of orthopedic care.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative outpatient environment, helping patients manage acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain through evidence-based, minimally invasive therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic pain

Administer trigger point injections and support other interventional procedures under physician supervision

Evaluate musculoskeletal injuries and collaborate with ortho, rehab, and physical therapy teams

Educate patients on treatment options, medication use, and lifestyle modifications

Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly

Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

Collaborate with physicians and ancillary staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

Qualifications:

Certified NP or PA with an active license in New York

Minimum 2 years of experience in pain management or musculoskeletal medicine required

Experience with trigger point injections is required

Orthopedic or physiatry background strongly preferred
