Pain Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Newbridge Spine & Pain Center specializes in interventional pain management, offering advanced treatments and technologies to address chronic and acute pain conditions. Our expert team includes board-certified anesthesiologists, physician assistants, and certified nurse practitioners dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Split time between our Waldorf and Prince Frederick locations.
- Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and post-operative assessments for patients aged 18 and older.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Perform trigger point injections (training provided if no prior experience).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical protocols.
- Work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or on-call duties.
Qualifications
- Board certification as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- Active Maryland state license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of one year post-graduate experience in Pain Medicine (preferred) or in Primary Care, Orthopedics, Neurology, or Urgent Care settings.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
