ASP Web Solutions, LLC is looking for a PACS Workstation Support to join our team in Portsmouth, VA. This person is responsible for day-to-day on-site operations and maintenance of the diagnostic, quality control, and clinical workstations that are included in the PACS. He/she will be shall be responsible for supporting and/or performing the installation and configuration of new or replaced hardware and software components.
The ideal candidate will have a broad technical background, a solid understanding of applicable analytics, and a natural curiosity for producing effective solutions. This person is patient, has excellent time-management skills, and practices of effective communication style.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Support:
- Providing technical support to end-users (radiologists, technicians, etc.) regarding PACS software and hardware.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to PACS system functionality.
- Responding to inquiries and resolving problems related to image access, workflow, and system performance.
- System Maintenance and Administration:
- Ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the PACS system.
- Monitoring system performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as system backups and updates.
- Managing user access and permissions within the PACS system.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
- Two years of experience is required
- Knowledge of all engineering tools and applications and programming languages
