Packaging Supply Sales Account Representative

Bring your sales talent to Acme Group as a Sales Account Manager specializing in Packaging Supplies and experience in FIBC Bags is preferred. The Sales Manager will leverage Acme Bag capabilities to drive sales in the packaging Agriculture and Food Industry. As the leader of the Company's Sales Division, this individual will ensure internal financial objectives are accomplished while meeting or exceeding customer expectations. We are looking for a high-performing Account Manager to meet our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You will be responsible for developing and executing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to achieve your financial targets.


Job Summary:

Organize and direct all necessary facets of the strategic business unit to ensure long-term profitable growth and viability of the assigned business. Identify potential deals, develop, and align strategy/tactics to win them, and leverage Company resources effectively across the organization. Drive key topics forward as a team player and partner with the management team to ensure the best possible service and communications with customers.


Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Work closely with Company Leadership to implement and achieve sales objectives, trade plans, and distribution growth of FIBC Bags, and other allied packaging supplies.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans, promotions, and programs to achieve volume and profit goals.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events.
  • Develop the customer base and make presentations directly.
  • Perform ongoing business and competitive analysis to drive sales performance.
  • Leverage insights and data to develop and execute plans, presentations, and analyze opportunities.
  • Create collaborations, internally and externally.
  • Ensure execution detail, follow-through, and follow-up.
  • Work with USA & India procurement Team to develop customer product platforms.
  • Use Insightly CRM to manage customer relationships, track sales progress, and analyze sales data.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth and profitable operation.
  • Participate in forecasting and budgeting.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or related field.
  • Travel requirement of approximately 30% throughout the United States.
  • Over 10 years of revenue development experience in the packaging industry, with a strong preference for experience in FIBC bags.
  • Strong working knowledge of the sales ecosystem and the ability to develop deep key stakeholder relationships in relevant customer bases.
  • Experience and vision to grow sales, understanding the market value chain, identifying opportunities, driving projects, and forging long-term industry relationships in customer-centric environments requiring them to exemplify sustainable high energy, motivation, perseverance, and passion to meet customer demands for high levels of customer service.
  • Ability to sell into large and small accounts, with demonstrated ability in all phases of sales and delivery (opportunity identification, qualification, engagement scoping, client relationship management, and closing).
  • Strong communication skills, including strategic and functional level problem analysis and resolution; creative problem-solving, conflict resolution, negotiation, and people skills that foster a positive workplace environment.
  • Ability to identify barriers to entry and develop tactics to overcome them, translate and anticipate customer needs into technically complex customer offerings.
  • Competitive and motivated, able to articulate their approach to account sales strategy, planning, and execution, including solution/consultative selling methodologies.
  • High degree of self-confidence, quick thinking, and learning/recovering from failures. Willingness to seek expert counsel, ask for help, and employ experts in team selling situations.

Reporting:

The candidate will report to the General Manager and Controller of the company.
