Packaging Specialist Qualifications/Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Previous pharmacy experience is a plus

• Able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line.

• Able to consistently carry 20-30lbs of merchandise short distances and 15lbs of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor.

• Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift.

• Basic math, reading and writing skills required.

Packaging Specialist Schedule & Pay:

• 1st Shift $17.31/hr
  Monday - 9am-6:30pm
  Tuesday - Friday 10am-7:30pm
  Saturday - 12pm-8:30pm

• 2nd Shift $18.06/hr
  Monday - 1pm-11:30pm
  Tuesday - Friday 2pm-11pm
  Saturday - 12am-8:30pm

Packaging Specialist Job Description:

• Pack, sort, and ship prescriptions directly to retail pharmacies and end-customer in a fast-paced semi-automated production environment.

• Ability to pack, sort, and ship prescriptions with 100% accuracy and efficiency using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and McKesson supported hardware and software.

• Able to read computer generated screens, select correct items for packing or sorting

• Also responsible for housekeeping, and other duties as assigned.

• May require mandatory overtime based on business needs
