Job Description Anticipated Start Date: 5/20/2025 Associates in this position will receive a $2.00 shift differential for hours worked between 12am-6am. Position Overview: As an Overnight Team Leader, you will oversee all store operations during the night shift in the absence of more senior management. Your duties include driving efficient productivity, ensuring top-quality service, and making constructive recommendations to the management team regarding store performance and opportunities. This role may also involve assisting with managing the fuel offerings.
Key Responsibilities: - Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously.
- Ensure smooth operation of orders between associates and customers to maintain food and beverage quality.
- Implement safety, security, and quality standards; adeptly follow Wawa's Crisis Management procedures when necessary.
- Motivate and guide associates, providing necessary coaching throughout the shift.
- Monitor and replenish stock levels of food service items according to demand.
- Communicate potential opportunities for growth to the Food and Beverage Manager.
- Recognize and celebrate associate achievements.
- Ensure adherence to cash handling procedures and perform managerial functions at the register.
- Manage the check-in process for external and internal vendors according to corporate protocols.
- Maintain knowledge of store equipment and ensure the store environment meets required standards.

Requirements: - High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Availability for 35 - 40 hours a week.
- Flexible availability for various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
- Preferred experience in leading teams and managing expenses in retail or food service settings.
- Background in food service menu planning and training associates preferred.
- Proven ability to implement change and achieve results effectively.
- Leadership experience in fast-paced environments is preferred.
- Experienced in all aspects of store operations, particularly in foodservice.
- Consistent demonstration of skills in customer service, relationship building, and effective communication.
