Overnight General Assembler

A-Line Staffing is now hiring an Overnight General Assembler in Sumter, SC.

General Assembler Compensation

• The pay for this position is $18.50 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

General Assembler Highlights

• Shift: 3-2-2-3 schedule and 7pm-7am
• This position is a contract assignment with potential for permanent hire based on attendance, performance, and business needs

• General Assembler Responsibilities

  Operate rubber press equipment and perform related manufacturing tasks

  Fabricate, assemble, test, and package medical devices

  Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment

  Conduct quality inspections to ensure product meets specifications

  Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines

  Work collaboratively in a team environment and rotate tasks as needed

  
  

  General Assembler Requirements

  Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

  Experience: 0-1 year in manufacturing or assembly

  Effective communication skills (verbal and written in English)

  Ability to read, write, and interpret specifications

  Comfortable using basic measurement tools (e.g., microscopes)

  Willing and able to work flexible/extended hours and maintain punctual attendance

  Strong attention to detail

  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk/sit for extended periods
