For Outside Sales Engineers, we do this on a draw basis, so they would need to cover this salary prior to getting any bonus or commission.

We pay 20% of gross profit to the salesperson. It is uncapped. Our current outside sales people typically make between $ 80,000 to $ 700,000.

We would offer a car allowance / gas allowance of $650/month and a cell phone allowance of $70/month.

The company pays for all expenses for training, lunches, dinners and entertaining customers, although there would need to be justification for anything extravagant. We typically pay out commissions three times a year, although we can pay out quarterly if necessary.


Start Date: Monday, June 2nd or sooner

Location: 2121 E. Magnolia St. Phoenix, AZ

Schedule: Onsite five days a week, 8am - 5pm

Interview: first round via teams, second round in person to meet the team

JOB DESCRIPTION/ Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage HVAC Equipment sales and work closely with customers to meet project expectations

Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing and prospective customers

Talk with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements

Collaborate with sales teams and estimating department to meet customer requirements and provide sales support on a variety of projects

Secure new construction projects and tenant improvement projects and coordinate product delivery

Plan and modify products or create custom solutions to meet customer needs

Help clients solve problems and troubleshoot installed equipment

Recommend improved equipment or processes to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production

Help in researching and developing new products

Must Haves:

2-3 years in a sales role

Product knowledge

Ability to identify prospective customers, leads and convert it to sales

Ability to understand, translate and communicate technical information to different audiences

Strong interpersonal skills both for building relationships with clients and effectively communicating with other members of the sales team.

Plusses:

Familiarity with HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, and HVAC controls is preferred
