Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Outside Sales Representative to expand DONNA Eyewear's presence and cultivate relationships with independent optical retailers in the New York Metro area and surrounding region. This is a field-based role requiring travel within your territory, with occasional visits to our New York office.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire new independent optical accounts.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing wholesale partners.
  • Present DONNA Eyewear collections effectively to buyers.
  • Manage your territory and sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Provide ongoing support and act as a trusted resource for your accounts.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Represent DONNA Eyewear at industry trade shows.
  • Track sales activities and submit reports.

Qualifications:

  • Must currently reside in the assigned territory (New York Metro Area or surrounding region).
  • Strong, verifiable outside sales experience, minimum 2 years preferred (optical, fashion, or accessories industry background is a plus).
  • Motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Proven territory management and call cycle planning skills.
  • Demonstrated track record in developing strong business-to-business relationships.
  • You must own a reliable car and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift and carry sample bags up to 45 pounds.
  • Understanding of the optical market and wholesale sales processes.
  • Passion for eyewear design and fashion.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and standard office productivity tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory, including potential overnight travel (up to 50%).
