Akkodis is seeking a Outside Sales Representative for a direct hire job opportunity with a client located in the Bethlehem PA area. Candidate must have reliable transportation - client will provide car allowance and gas card. The Outside Sales Representative will have your own territory, to sell in and client offers a really great training and oboarding program.
Salary Range: $50-70K base with typical first year commissions at $15-20K on top of base
Outside Sales Representative - job responsibilities include:
- The Sales Representative is responsible for Business-to-Business (B2B) sales.
- Will call on business owners, senior-level decision makers, and executives to promote solutions in support of linens, uniforms, healthcare apparel, mats and mops, restroom services, and promotional product needs.
- Will develop and present competitive solutions by promoting reputation, reliability, eco-friendly operational model, and industry stature.
- Expected to prospect using both conventional and creative means, which includes cold-calling to social networking, in order to build the business base.
- Will have a protected local sales territory, car allowance with gas card (or company car), an excellent benefits plan as outlined below, and exceptional sales support (no collections or account management).
Required qualifications:
- 2-5 years of in-person B2B sales experience and must be a hunter. Would consider someone who has done outside B2C sales as well.
- Experience with contractual business sales (i.e., office equipment, business systems, communication solutions, etc.), and a demonstrated history of continual learning and self-improvement.
- The ideal candidate has previous success in B2B sales, experience selling solutions versus commodities in a highly competitive market, closing skills with a focus on long-term customer retention,
- Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
- Will be required to use own vehicle to drive to client sites for this role. Car allowance and a gas card will be given.
