Outpatient MRI Technologist

The -ChristianaCare Outpatient -Radiology -Department is currently recruiting for a Full-Time (80hrs) MRI Technologist to work evening shift at our Newark CampusResponsible for:
•   Performing MRI examinations.
•   Performing X-ray examinations, as necessary.
•   Performing clerical duties, as necessary.
•   Superior performance in Customer Service SkillsShift Hours:
•   Evenings - 2:30p-11:00pEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
•   Completion of ARRT registry in radiologic technology required (two-year accredited program).
•   Completion of ARRT registry in MRI required (achieved within two years of hire).
•   State Licensure on Radiation Protection is required.
•   Completion of formal and/or on the job training on cross sectional anatomy.
•   An Associate's degree is required; candidates are required to obtain their Associates of Science degree (can be substituted within a related field), within three (3) years of their start date as outlined in the Education Agreement required to be signed as a condition of employment.
•   Certification in CPR.
•   Yearly PEEPS certification required for proper and safe positioning and transfer of patients. -
