Grand America Hotel is seeking a dynamic and service-oriented Outdoor Pool Supervisor to oversee food and beverage operations at our luxurious outdoor pool. This seasonal position is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional guest experiences. Our pool will officially open for the season on May 1, 2025, and we are assembling a top-tier team to provide an unparalleled luxury experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food & Beverage Operations: Oversee all poolside food and beverage services, ensuring prompt and professional service that meets luxury standards.
  • Guest Experience: Engage with guests to enhance their poolside experience, addressing any special requests, concerns, or service issues.
  • Team Supervision: Lead, train, and motivate poolside servers and support staff to maintain a high-performance culture.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food and beverage presentation, consistency, and quality, working closely with culinary and bar teams.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation standards are strictly followed, including poolside cleanliness, food handling regulations, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Inventory & Ordering: Manage stock levels for beverages, snacks, and supplies, coordinating with purchasing teams to maintain adequate inventory.
  • Poolside Ambiance: Ensure the pool area maintains an inviting, well-organized, and upscale atmosphere at all times.
  • Conflict Resolution: Handle guest complaints with professionalism and efficiency, striving for positive resolutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, Executive Chef, and hotel leadership to uphold brand standards and service excellence.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end restaurant.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience in hospitality preferred.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid liquor handling permit and food safety certification in accordance with state and local laws.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment and handle the physical demands of a fast-paced setting.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
