Otolaryngology Physician

Coverage Needed:

• Start Date: July 28, 2025
• End Date: Ongoing (Minimum Commitment of 6 Months- with Option to Extend)
• Schedule: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call

Clinical Details:

• Practice Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient
• EMR System: Epic
• Support Staff: 1 RN, 1 MA, 3 Office Staff
• Team of 4 ENT's
• In house audiometric testing with Audiologist
• Integrated flexible laryngoscopy and rigid endoscopy with EMR
• Average block time: 1 day per week
• Admissions are managed by MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital's employed Hospitalist team.
• Call Type: Beeper, 1:4 Call Ratio (at one hospital) , 2 Phone Consults per 24 hours
• Procedures: General Otolaryngology, Surgical and Non-surgical, Endoscopic procedures, Septal, Sinus, Bronchoscopy, Laryngoscopy, Tracheotomy, Thyroidectomy, Extended parotidectomy, Radical neck surgery, Facial reconstruction, Facial surgery, Facial implants, Blepharoplasty, Rhinoplasty, Complex head and neck, General head and neck
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes
• Patients Per Shift: 20-25
• Admissions: Managed by Hospitalist team
• Hospital Stroke Certified: Yes
• Trauma Level: 3
• PEDs Level: 3

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required in Otolaryngology
• License: Licensed in WA or Compact License
• Certifications: ATLS, BLS
• Fellowship: Preferred
• Hospital/Surgery Center Privileges: Required
