A facility is seeking an otolaryngolgoist for locum tenens coverage.
Visit Shenandoah National Park, the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and George Washington's Mount Vernon Historical Landmark while on assignment in Central Virginia.
This position requires a range of ENT surgical and non-surgical procedures. Surgical procedures include thyroidectomy and extended parotidectomy. General surgical otolaryngology procedures involve tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and PE tube placement. Non-surgical responsibilities include conducting hearing evaluations and managing disorders involving the ears, nose, throat, and skeletal facial structures. Endoscopic procedures required are septoplasty, sinus surgery, flexible and rigid bronchoscopy, and laryngoscopy. Facial surgery experience is also needed, including rhinoplasty, treatment of facial fractures, and performing skin grafts or flaps.
