Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our acute care team in Peoria, AZ. This role involves working within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, supporting physicians and clinical staff in delivering exceptional care to patients with acute, complex, and post-surgical needs.


Ideal candidates will have prior experience in hospital-based medicine, acute care, or post-operative recovery, but we are open to well-prepared new graduates with strong clinical training and confidence in high-pressure settings.


This is a collections-based role, with a guaranteed annual minimum of $150,000, and most providers earn between $150,000 $200,000 per year.


Duties:


  • Provide comprehensive acute care services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for medically complex patients.
  • Manage patient care for post-operative, post-discharge, and step-down unit cases requiring close monitoring.
  • Conduct in-depth physical exams, diagnostic evaluations, and order appropriate laboratory or imaging tests.
  • Interpret clinical data and adjust treatment plans based on patient status and physician guidance.
  • Collaborate closely with attending physicians, surgeons, hospitalists, and nursing staff to ensure a coordinated and effective care plan.
  • Prescribe medications and manage therapies under established protocols.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative education and care, including monitoring for complications and surgical site issues.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families regarding treatment plans and prognosis.
  • Document all care provided in a timely, thorough, and compliant manner.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and assist with transitions of care and discharge planning.

Other Requirements:


  • NP or PA Program Completed in USA
  • 3-4 Years Acute Care Experience (Ideal not required)
