A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OT SYSTEM ENGINEER

The OT System Engineer programs all new SCADA and DA field and substation devices as well as SMP programming for all OT devices. Maintains, monitors, and manages all field devices correlated with OT technology and adjacent softwares. Analyzes SCADA and DA information/loads/logs to determine, recommend, and plan design changes.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN OT SYSTEM ENGINEER

• Required: Minimum of a B.S. Degree from an ABET accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience: Must have a thorough working knowledge of electric utility functioning, troubleshooting methods and electronic equipment operation. A minimum of three years' experience working with SCADA, GUI, UX/UI or like in kind computer systems is preferred.
• Preferred experience with CISystem.
• Preferred working knowledge of Windows operating system, Microsoft Office software package, GUI programs, and/or US/UI.
