OSP Field Engineer career opportunity available. Location: Arizona or Las Vegas (Preferred), Other U.S. locations considered Travel: up to 90% travel required (primarily AZ, Las Vegas, and other locations) Company is a leading design firm specializing in fiber networks, seeking an OSP Field Engineer / Inspector. This role is focused on the pre-construction and design phase, where you'll be responsible for laying out the network design. The work will involve a mix of analyzing existing infrastructure and designing solutions to extend services to new buildings and areas. Key Responsibilities: Manage field activities including aerial/underground data collection, address validation, MDU and building walkouts, cabinet location assessments, and HOA interactions Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to execute project deliverables Use tools such as Katapult, Ike, or GIS for aerial and underground data collection Ensure project scope, schedule, and budget are met, reporting to management as needed Coordinate with vendors, clients, and municipal entities for smooth project execution Track data milestones, analyze inputs, and ensure project timelines are maintained Required Qualifications: 3+ years of OSP telecom fielding experience (both aerial and underground) Knowledge of aerial data collection tools (Katapult, Ike, etc) and ESRI/GIS software Familiarity with NESC/GEO95 aerial construction practices and make-ready engineering Experience in underground utility and in-building telecom systems Proficiency in reading blueprints and collection systems such as Katapult or Esri Compensation & Term: Pay Rate: +/- $30 $45/hr (Negotiable, Depending on Experience) Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, etc. and upon conversion, PTO is offered based on experience, and time worked with Selectek will count toward review/raise timelines.
