Schedule: FTJob Type: HybridSalary Type: SalaryJob Level: P2Req : 1303About the Role Uber Freight is looking for an OS&D Operations Representative to help develop processes and system improvements that continuously set a higher standard. This individual will participate in the operations of critical business processes that involve delivery exceptions. They will work with carriers and customers to work towards mutual resolution of issues. Individual must have strong decision making ability and be able to utilize team SOPS, but be able to think outside the box and be able to operate in a changing environment.
In addition to escalation resolution, you will drive continuous improvement to Uber Freight's delivery exception management space, reducing the impact of these incidents across all aspects of our business. While each incident is unique, identifying and surfacing actionable trends will be a key part of this role.
Although cases are managed by the individual there is extensive team collaboration and must be willing to chip in when it is busy season or at times of staffing constraints.
What the Candidate Will Do - Work across functions to continually seek new solutions for team efficiency and customer logistics challenges
- Drive forward the future vision of Uber Freight with our product team and help sell that vision to our customers
- Own all core account metrics and goals across account management teams
- Passionately prioritize the service needs of our customers
- Develop process and system improvements to continually raise the bar of execution
- Resolve any issues that come up in the normal operation of freight
- Manage both Internal and External Stakeholders with urgency and ownership of the issue
Basic Qualifications - College degree or equivalent
- Experience problem solving and proposing unique solutions to complex issues while providing top tier customer support
- Strong attention to detail
- Outstanding work ethic and sense of urgency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - You are a clear and concise communicator with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the meaningful points, and disseminate priority insights
- Commitment to continuously improving (self and business)
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- First-hand experience working with both shipper and carrier partners
- Domain-specific knowledge in cargo risk & security, carrier & shipper fraud, compliance, and/or safety in the logistics (or related) industries
- Ability to flourish in a high growth tech environment where change is constant
- Intermediate ability in Microsoft Office and Google suite

Illinois: The target salary range for this position is between $54,950- $64,900
