About this role:

As an Advanced Practice Provider with our Southwest Orthopedics team, you will work within a collaborative and supportive team of 12 physicians and 14 other APPs committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you will provide OR and clinical support for our Shoulder & Elbow team, assisting in the OR with musculoskeletal shoulder-related procedures and in the clinic managing new consults, follow-ups and injections. We are looking for someone who can provide excellent patient care in the clinical and OR settings and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • You will practice at Southwest Orthopedics Shoulder & Elbow clinic
  • Clinic hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with the potential to work 4/10s
  • Call is 1:12 for one week including weekends

What you'll bring:
  • Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Licensed as PA or NP in the state of Utah or able to obtain
  • Board certification by AANP, ANCC or NCCPA
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • DEA and full prescriptive authority in Utah
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
  • Two years of experience as an APP, preferably in orthopedics or general surgery
