Coverage Needed :

  • May 22, 2025 - ongoing
  • Schedule: 24-hour call, 7 a.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Start Dates: May 22-31

Clinical Details :

  • Setting: Acute Care, Level 2 Trauma Center (functions as a Level 1)
  • Duties: Emergency Department call, rounds, and consultations
  • Types of Cases : General orthopedic (upper/lower extremities) and traumatic orthopedic injuries, preferred training/experience in hand surgery
  • EMR: Cerner Care B
  • Support Staff: Hospital-based Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) supporting the ortho-spine service line; separate call panel for neurosurgery
  • Patients/Day: 20-30 patients on service per day

Requirements :

  • Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Trauma
  • Active California License
  • Current DEA
  • Current California fluoroscopy permit
  • Clean malpractice - Preferred
  • Training/experience in hand surgery - Preferred
