Medical Center is looking for a PER DIEM locum Orthopedic PA to provide sporadic coverage. This is not a full time Locum position. Facility is only accepting PA's for this need.

- Mon-Fri (8a-5p)
- Weeknight call, no weekends
- Per Diem/sporadic coverage only. This is not a full time Locum need.

- Inpatient responsibilities? Yes - rounding on post-op patients, inpatient/ED consults, OR

- Job Description/Responsibilities: Clinical, Surgical and Trauma/Orthopedic Call
- of Physicians: 4 Physicians as of July 2025 with Locum call coverage
- of Advanced Practice Providers: 7
- Nursing Support/Physician Nurse Ratio: 1 nurse/provider, 3 cast techs/7 providers
- Ancillary Staff per Provider: 3 Reception/7 providers, 2 Surgery Schedulers/7 providers
- Services/Procedures offered in the practice: Total hip, knee, and shoulder replacement. Hand, wrist, knee, shoulder, hip, ankle, and foot surgical procedures. Trauma injuries, fracture care, sports medicine, and other disorders.
- Exam Rooms per Provider: 2 exam rooms and 3 cast rooms
- Medical Imaging: YES.
- Lab: YES.
- Pharmacy: YES.
- Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: Mainly consults, current avg hospital daily census 160 pts/day
- Appointment Length: 10-30 mins depending on new consult, recheck, post-op, or procedure
- Patient Population/Demographics: Hub Hospital, Serve 16 surrounding counties, Population 200,000+
- EMR: GE Centricity for clinic. EPIC for hospital.
- Teaching Opportunity: IM and FM residency. PA student rotation.
- Facility will accept new grads.
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
Submission Requirements
- Board Certified - REQUIRED (cannot accept Board Eligible)
- Clean Malpractice - REQUIRED
- Active IA License or Active Compact/IMLC LOQ - REQUIRED (copy is required at time of name clear)
