Coverage Needed:

• Start Date: 7/1/2025

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
• On Call: Yes

Clinical Details:

• Responsibilities: Rounding on post-op patients, inpatient/ED consults, OR
• Job Responsibilities: Clinical, Surgical, Trauma/Orthopedic Call
• Number of Physicians: 4
• Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 7
• Supervision of APP expected: Yes
• Physician Nurse Ratio: 1 nurse/provider, 3 cast techs/7 providers
• Ancillary Staff per Provider: 3 Reception/7 providers, 2 Surgery Schedulers/7 providers
• Number of Exam Rooms per Provider: 2 exam rooms and 3 cast rooms
• Medical Imaging: Yes
• Lab & Pharmacy: Yes
• Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: Mainly consults, current avg hospital daily census 160 pts/day
• Appointment Length: 10-30 minutes depending on new consult, recheck, post-op, or procedure
• Demographics: Hub Hospital, Serve 16 surrounding counties, Population 200,000+
• EMR: Clinic - GE Centricity; Hospital - Epic (Clinic switching to Epic in December)
• Teaching Opportunity: IM and FM residency; PA student rotation
• Services offered: Total hip, knee, and shoulder replacement. Hand, wrist, knee, shoulder, hip, ankle, and foot surgical procedures. Trauma injuries, fracture care, sports medicine, and other disorders.

Requirements:

• Board Certified - REQUIRED (cannot accept Board Eligible)
• Active IA License or Active Compact License
• Must be able to start on 7/1/2025
• Must be available at least 2 weeks per month of coverage
