Orthopedics Physician

Coverage Needed:

• June 15 - August 15, 2025
• Schedule: in-house 7am-5pm, call 5pm-7am
  • Intermittent coverage from 8/15-9/10 (weekends, call, day shift)
• Call: 24-hour call coverage, call ratio 1:3, 10-14 days of call per month
  • Call to cover two locations

Clinical Details:

• EMR: Cerner
• Orthopedic Surgeons in Practice: Private practice providers only (10 orthopedic surgeons)
• Practice Setting: Hospital-based, level 2 trauma center
• Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day (Hospital): 3-5
• Average Number of Patients Per Day in Clinic: 5-10 patients, clinic day 1 half day per week
• Number of Operating Rooms: 7
• Practice Types/Settings Required: Orthopedic surgical cases (adult, geriatric, pediatric), hospital
• General Orthopedics (treatment of fractures, dislocations, amputations, deformities, and tumors of bones and joints): surgical and non-surgical
• Additional Procedures: General orthopedic trauma care, total joint replacement (hip), joint revision or repair (hip)
• 700 cases annually

Requirements:

• Board Certified
• New Jersey License
• BLS
