Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Momentum Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified Physician Assistant (PA) for a permanent position in Coos Bay, OR. Position: Permanent PA Orthopedic Surgery
Location: Coos Bay, Oregon
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday (with on-call availability)

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in performing orthopedic surgery procedures, including both inpatient and outpatient care.
Provide preoperative and postoperative care, including patient assessments, management, and recovery planning.
Serve as first-assist in surgeries, including making incisions, suturing, and assisting in the closure of wounds.
Perform clinical evaluations, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results for orthopedic conditions.
Provide patient education regarding orthopedic conditions, treatment options, and rehabilitation plans.
Work closely with orthopedic surgeons and the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and standards.

Qualifications:
Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with licensure in Oregon or the ability to obtain licensure.
Previous orthopedic surgery experience preferred, but new grads with a strong interest in orthopedics are encouraged to apply.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while delivering excellent patient care.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
