Job Details:
  • Start Date: Ongoing
  • End Date: 02/27/25
  • Shift: 40 Hours/week 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM coverage
  • Practice Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Both
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Trauma Level 3
  • Support Staff to include: ED Physicians/ ED RN
Procedure/Skills:

  • Evaluates, assesses patient illness/injuries
  • Performs physical examinations, and special examinations
  • Takes medical histories; develops plans of care; intervenes in crisis situations or patient deterioration
  • Provides routine and illness care; orders medications; orders diagnostic tests and evaluates results
  • Assumes responsibility for patient follow-up, coordination, and referrals to other health care providers as necessary
  • Maintains patient health information records
  • Provides patient counseling/education
  • Assist with surgeries as first assist
License and Certifications Requirements:
  • Board Certified NCCPA,
  • CT license,
  • DEA/CSR,
  • BLS,
  • ACLS,
  • 2+ years of ortho experience,
  • graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program,
Pay Package: $120/hour Negotiable on 1099 + Travel, Logistics & Malpractice.
