Orthopedic Specialty Group seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant to the team.
- Previous orthopedic experience is preferred but will train a new graduate with interest in orthopedics.
- The position includes both the clinic and OR.
- The new Physician Assistant will be working with a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon.
- Cases include both pediatric and adult and includes total joints, trauma, back etc.

Responsibilities include:
- First assist
- Initial evaluations
- Joint aspiration and injections
- Pre-op and Post-op H&P s
- Reductions of fractures and dislocations
- Write scripts
- Coordinate with Physical Therapist and ATC s
- Ordering tests and evaluate X-ray, CT Scan and MRI
- Casting and splinting
- Possibility to run clinics
- Hospital rounds
The location is 40 minutes to Bloomington. This city has universities, a local airport, low cost of living and excellent school systems. Salary depends on experience plus an excellent production bonus plan. There is a full benefits package offered.
